the true friend :
Alhamdulillah. Praise be to God for guiding us to the True
Friends. The ones who are for us, before we were for our own selves. They are
with us and never once left us. They are the siddiqin inwardly and outwardly.
To meet a true friend is to know God. To be with a true friend is to witness
the unfolding of oneself to one's Self. Like mountains they walk gently on the
earth. Like the Sun, they bring guidance to the darkest of hearts. Like the
Moon, they gleam with shimmering Light to unveil the potential of your Being.
Like the Ocean they are bountiful beyond what you fathom. Their lowering of
heads in humble submission to thy Lord is your unfolding into a higher
spiritual state. Their gaze a spiritual elevation into Eternity. Their
companionship a Sun in the carcass of one's despair. Their Flood, Your Becoming
into the Cosmic Reality.
